Here at Superior Networks we want to make sure that you get critical support when you need it. We know exactly how painful it can be having to sit around waiting on our ticket support staff, and with this in mind we have decided to launch our "Critical Support Line". This line will be dedicated to only the most critical issues and depending on how well we feel it runs, we may choose to continue it past the end of this year, or even expand it into a more generalized support line.

Due to our needs to actually continue ticket support and the fact that we are not a big enough to man the phones 24 hours a day, 7 days a week there are some restrictions on when we can actually take your calls. You will however be able to leave us a voice mail on the line if we can not for any reason take your call and we will get back to those as a matter of urgency.

So, the number you ask. You can reach our team using the number: 08438861480

Weekends the line will be open from 11 AM to Midnight and there will be staff here to help you throughout Mon - Fri also.

So, today marks the day that Spigot have managed to get a 1.8 release of servers up and running. This has been a long time coming and is something that everyone in the Minecraft community have really been waiting for.

With this in mind we are going to be looking to get the Minecraft hosting out of beta and all the plans setup. These will support Craftbukkit 1.8 and Spigot 1.8 along with the vanilla server and a range of modded servers of which we have yet to finalize.

It will not be too long now until we hope to get everything up and running and will keep you all informed.

Today we were given ownership of our latest server, Orange. This server will allow us to drastically expand our French OpenVZ operations, and should lay the grounds for our planned Canadian OpenVZ operations we are hoping to start in January 2015.

Unlike our current node this server does only have 32GB of ram though includes the same 2TB HDD meaning that there is plenty of room to keep your files safe and sound. It also includes a better processor to the current Tomato server ( Intel Xeon E3 1225v2 ) allowing for you to complete your tasks a lot faster than what is currently possible on the Tomato server.

We have decided to initially migrate about 5 clients on to this new node for 2 main reasons. One it is just more powerful, it will allow these clients to get better processing speeds while they are working on the server. The second reason is that these clients are on non-ranged IP's, making it a lot easier for us to move them over without having to move 4 servers at the same time.

On a slightly separate note, we were very happy with the amount of people that have come to us from Low End Talk / Low End Box and we hope that you all find our services very good, and that you should never need to have to contact our support desk and that everything just works as it should.

I would also like to apologize to any clients that initially have had issues with MaxMind, since the amount of orders increased we have decided to review the settings for it and have increased it by a moderate amount. It should be less likely to be mistakenly caught out with the system. If however the system does flag you please contact our pre-sales team who will be able to advise you further, in some cases you may be just 0.1 or so over the limit and we can make exceptions, if you are significantly higher please attach some form of government issued ID that we can verify.

We do hope to be posting a bit more often and it should not be too long now before Alex posts his write up from Insomnia 53, and before we have some news about the events we are planning on attending next year!

Hello Everyone,

I want to take this time to now welcome you to our brand new light weight blogging system. Here is where we will be posting updates for all of our services, any events we are attending and anything similar to that.

Initially it will just be me (Ryan) posting here, but Alex, Dan and Charles should have posting access very soon and will be as active as they feel is appropriate.

If you have anything you would like to see here, please do let me know and I will try to make sure that we start to include such content in the future.
