So its 4PM, and its been somewhat busy so far... as I write this I am sat in the press room recovering from a food coma... Pizza hut was amazing, as per usual.

After getting up at 6AM, Picking Dan up at around 7:10 and heading to a local Costa that I thought was open and apparently it is not... They opened at 8:00 not 7:00... Whoops... We made our way from Swindon up to Birmingham. The drive was generally uneventful and was fairly nice with the exceptions of the roadworks.

We arrived at the NEC at around 9:15 and parked up in the exhibitors parking (Massive thanks to the gentleman at the gate that allowed us as a press team to get into the Exhibitor parking, especially as our pass was for Exhibitors and not the normal parking area) and we made the short walk into the NEC to collect our tickets. We waited for the gentlemen to finish his phone call and issue us with our passes and to my shock horror we don't have a lanyard this time. We do have a wristband, but it is interesting trying to deal with the NEC security explaining that you are Press and finding out if you're allowed to get through or not.

We managed to meet up with Paul who had slept here overnight and had a quick look around before meeting up with Alex, where we managed to make our way into the Exhibition Hall about 10mins before the crowds ran in and took over the haul. From there we had a look around everything we could see on the walk towards the main stage ready for the opening ceremony. Once there the chaos of the box began...

After the opening ceremony we met up with Tom (NinjaCucumber) and we had a look around a bit more of the exhibition haul before meeting Paul again to get ourselves BYOC guest tickets, because for some weird reason Press are not allowed into the BYOC lounge... No idea why...

We have also recently returned from Pizza hut and as I write this blog I continue to recover from my massive food coma that is hitting me. We have another hour or two to look around and meet some more people (Including Mr Eike Sky himself who is our Pub Quiz King for the night) to get ourselves our passes into the Pub Quiz. I'll update this again later when we get back to the hotel, and have finished looking around everything we can for the day. Keep an eye on our twitter @SNetworks1 and @InspiringYT, along with the Inspire Instagram (letsinspireyt)

Update for the rest of the night:

So, we had a bit of a nosey around, met up with Rose and said hello, and then met up with Eike who had arranged the pub quiz tables. We got our wristbands and then decided to wrap things up for the day side of things. We checked into our hotel, that is about a 10-15 min drive away. As we booked at the same time we are fortunate enough to have rooms opposite each other, so working on some collaborative projects is going to be easier. We got showered, changed and found a local taxi company to take us back to the NEC, as Uber is not available here (Sad times everyone...).

After an exceptionally expensive taxi ride (£35 for a 10min trip was daylight robery)... We managed to get into the NEC and joined the mass of people outside the main stage entrance. While there we bumped into a T-Rex amongst other creative dress choices... Lets just say most were an acquired taste... After a MAJOR fluff up with the table arrangements and finding out that our table number (The one on our wristbands) was already taken by some others, we ended up having to wait around while the organizers found us another table that we could sit at. We went from 19 to 90... Not too great...

Once we finally got situated we got straight into the Fallout beer that Bethesda software had bought for everyone. A great way to get into things. After the guys ironed out some glitches (As it turns out the pub quiz system was never designed for that many tables and the limit was 250, meaning they had to modify the database that holds the results, we got into things. A lot of drinking, a lot of guesses, a lot of laughing and by the end a lot of rather bad singing and dancing... We wont go any further than that. After a final 3 Yeaga bombs (As that was all they had enough for, and they had no Vodka left...) we went outside and called our Uber. After missing our junction on the motorway to our hotel and having to take a bit of a longer trip, we finally got back where we both went to our rooms and had a good sleep..

Due to a decrease in demand, we will be discontinuing both our shared and reseller web hosting services.

We have done a lot of research into the viability of continuing to offer this service, however at the current time it is not viable for us to continue offering such services. All shared & reseller hosting plans will terminate at the end of your current billing cycle, you will be unable to renew your hosting with us.

We thank all our shared web hosting customers for their support, and wish you all the best for the future. We would also welcome all our shared hosting customers to look into our VPS range that many of you will find to be very suitable as a replacement for your shared hosting.

Thank you all for your understanding

Superior Networks Administration.

Hello All!

Earlier this year we announced our 2016 action plan, and our first step was to upgrade our infrastructure. Sadly our initial attempts at this failed miserably, to the point where some clients noticed major outages. This time we have gone back, done even more research, and have come up with a better solution.

While we will not be getting as newer hardware as we originally planned, its simply not viable using the software we need at the current time, we will be performing some significant changes. The first of these will be to actually reduce the amount of dedicated servers are are running. At first glance this may sound like madness, but we wanted to compact down the amount of points of failure we had on the network, and our French Network especially is currently very much under-used.

Over the next 4 weeks we will be finalising the deployment plans and will be doing whatever we can to minimise disruptions to production services. We understand change is a nightmare when it comes to servers, however this is something we do really need to do. A blog post will be posted in the next few weeks outlining exactly what the plan is in greater detail and the planned implementation, minimising any disruption to you our amazing clients!

Thank you all for your understanding, and I look forward to launching some new updated hardware!

Editors Note: So sorry (again) this went up late, we were writing this on the last day, we thought we published it but apparently not... It was sat in drafts... Sorry all!!

So guys... Its a tad late, but eh... You should expect this from me by now!

This concludes our Insomnia 57 coverage, if you want to see the pictures we took take a look over on the Inspire Network Instagram page, we were having a lot of fun posting pictures there!

Day 1 was rather enjoyable, though the traveling did take its toll, enough over priced Starbucks later (And a hell of a treck all around the NEC trying to find a Costa that was never there... Rose...) we did get settled into the day. Day 1 was a lot of sitting around, a lot of catching up and a bit of nosing around, seeing what there was to see and things like that. We didn't really make the most out of this day just because we were so distracted in catching up and just being a bit nosey around the event. I did manage to live blog (ISH - Damn Mac Auto correction thing to make that wish unless it was all caps, sheesh) this day, but not as much as I really should / could have. After my last update we continued looking around and at about 6PM I think it must have been I made the trip back to my hotel. I checked in there, went up to my room and chucked my bags just about everywhere... Setup shop on the desk and decided that I'd go down to the beefeater restaurant / pub that was right next to the hotel for an evening meal. There I enjoyed a nice (but somewhat expensive) Mixed Grill and caught up on Social Media, made some plans for the Sunday and just relaxed a bit.

Upon leaving the restaurant I headed across the road into the Sainsburrys Local garage (Because Damn was I not paying stupid money for a pudding, when I'd just sneak one into the hotel from across the road), and stocked up on goodies to get me through the evening. I sat up then in bed, listening to something on the BBC I think it must have been while just browsing the web on my Mac, doing business stuff and making some notes as to what to write in this blog (because y'all know I have a rubbish memory by now)...

Day 2 was somewhat more interesting, we were very fortunate that we got to meet Syndicate in the press room (twice I dare say) while Razer were recording some interviews with him and also while the BBC were interviewing him. For the record, he is a super chill chap, great sense of humour and makes a lot of sacrifices to make sure that he see's as many fans as he can, to the point where the NEC staff had to drag him away because they forgot to stop people queuing for his signings, and people were getting restless, no more than 20mins after he left it, so really amazing dude and I can't imagine he got much time to himself the entire event (sorry my friend for keeping you for pictures :/). We also made the trek into Birmingham City Center (After I missed the turning the first time) to Pizza Hut, as this is now a Insomnia Tradition for us, back at the Richo there was one about 5mins away, this is about 20mins away in the car, and the parking was absolutely insanely overpriced (Mac wont auto correct the word I want to use, and my dyslexia is posing to be a problem at 2AM...)... Like really... You want me to park and come shopping how about not charge me a liver to get in the door??? We then went back to the event, Alex played on a cool looking flight sim, we all played on the NoxCrew's Gameshow thing (And were rudely kicked out after like 20mins... Some kid had been there over an hour and was being left to it, just as we all got into the game as well...) and that was more or less that. We all said our farewells as I had to leave somewhat early to get home at a reasonable hour (and without realising it avoid road closures on the way back... Lucky I was) and yeah... I realised that I recorded all my vlogs in a time-lapse setting from when I was recording parts of my trip on my phone days before (Whoops, Sorry) and the team have started planning for I58, so we will see you there!!!

Welcome everyone to my blog, this will be updated throughout the weekend as I do somewhat interesting stuff... Who knows what exactly that will be. Lets begin.

Update 15:00

We are back... Again... We have had a good nosey around the event, though have yet to really play any games, I should probably do that at some point... I have another few hours to go so we should have plenty of time for that. I am back in the press room right now taking a break and writing this post (obviously). Two starbucks and a burger king later I am just about alive. We have a few more hours left to go and play some games, meet some people (Well some people that I know... Rose appears to know just about everyone...) so lets see how we go. I have realised that I have not vlogged anywhere near as much as I expected but thats life. I need to go get some chocolate now and will be back to update this post shortly.

Update: 11:45 AM

So, we have managed to get fully checked in, found the press room (After having to try and get into the press room as it was locked, though that did mean that we got to hang out in (an empty) special guest room. It has been rather nice so far, I would have liked it if I did decent 3G coverage in the press room instead of in this current corner, but I guess that is what I get for not getting the NEC wi-fi working. The atmosphere has been incredible so far and its been very impressive, though the amount of people that were queuing since 7:30 this morning, and then the stampede of people trying to get into the expo hall... So, back to it, time for a run around and then to decide what to have to eat.

Update: 8:15 AM

Its 8:15 in the morning, I have already been on the road for about an hour and have another 30-40 mins to go, I should hopefully be at the NEC for around 9:15-9:30 is the plan, I am stopped at a service station in need of a snickers duo and some water. All my dash cam footage has been ingested onto my laptop, and I am about to head off for the second stretch of my journey. I will see you all at the NEC.

We will be providing event coverage for your pleasure, and we have also teamed up with the Inspire Network team, so we will have some live Instagram feeds running throughout the day, pictures and tweets as usual.

We will also be aiming to do some live blogging throughout the day, though this will depend on the facilities at the event and if we have the internet access we require. Currently we have only been able to confirm 3 members of the team, another 2 members are currently feeling a tad under the weather and we are unable to confirm if they can or cannot attend as of yet. Currently the following people will be attending Insomnia 57:
